I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. At the age of 21, I transferred from UNLV to Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. I was addicted to the weather right away and after graduating, with a degree in Management Information Systems, decided to stay in San Diego as long as possible. Growing up I was raised in various protestant denominations, but soon after graduation God began to draw me to the Catholic Church. I completed RCIA and entered into full communion with the Church in 2008. For the next year I continued my studies with the Franciscan University Distance Learning program. Through continued prayer I discerned a Vocation to the priesthood and in 2009 I was accepted into the Program for Priestly Formation in the Diocese of San Diego. My formation as a healthy human and Christian continued at our House of Formation in San Diego through community and private prayer, pastoral ministry placement, and academic studies. In 2010 I continued on in the formation process by entering a major seminary, Mount Angel Seminary in Portland, Oregon. Currently I am enjoying the formation at major seminary and find it a balance between being hard but good.
